What a week it has been. One of our best friends was in a horrible car accident, we have a couple of dear friends going through chemo right now for cancer and we found out that the 8 week old baby girl of a couple that we know had a baseball-sized tumor, 1 kidney and 1 adrenal gland removed and it is a super rare type of cancer. All of these type of things make you realize how precious life really is. Life can change at a moment's notice.
That is what happened to me. My life changed in one moment. I have started this blog because I feel like I have a story to tell. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. I just think it will be therapeutic for me to write out my story, and hopefully I can help someone along the way. I hope you will join me in this story about the last decade of my life.
